Rebar Shop Drawings & Detailing
Drawings the site can build from without a phone call.
We produce placing and shop drawings that resolve reinforcement before it is fabricated: bar layouts, sections, congestion at junctions, and the coordination that stops rebar arriving on site in the wrong sequence.
Why this goes wrong.
Reinforcement drawings are usually design intent, not build instruction. Beam-column junctions, pile caps and core walls get resolved on site by whoever is standing there. That is where programme is lost and where non-conformances start.
Deliverables.
Issued in your format — Excel, PDF, DWG or your own template.
- Placing drawings with bar marks, spacing and cover
- Member-wise detailing for footings, pile caps, columns, beams, slabs, walls, cores and stairs
- Sections and enlarged details at congested junctions
- 3D rebar models in Tekla Structures or Revit
- Clash detection against structural steel, MEP penetrations and embeds
- Precast element reinforcement detailing
- Drawing registers and revision clouds
Outcomes.
Congestion
Junctions resolved in the model, not by a foreman with an angle grinder.
Sequencing
Drawings issued to match the pour sequence you are actually working to.
RFIs
Ambiguities raised as queries during detailing rather than as delays on site.
Standards
We detail to the code your project is contracted to, not to a house default.
- IS 456
- IS 13920
- BS 8666:2020
- ACI 315
- ACI 318
- Eurocode 2

Common questions.
Do you work in 2D, 3D, or both?
Both. Straightforward RCC frames are usually fastest as 2D detailing in AutoCAD or CADS RC. Where there is heavy congestion, a transfer structure, or a BIM deliverable in the contract, we model in Tekla or Revit and issue drawings from the model, so the schedule and the drawing can never disagree.
Can you work to our drawing standards and title block?
Yes. We set up to your CAD standards, layer conventions and title block before the first drawing is issued, so what you receive drops straight into your drawing register.
Do you handle clash detection?
Where we are modelling in 3D, yes: against structural steel, MEP penetrations, post-tensioning and cast-in embeds. We issue a clash report with the drawings rather than leaving you to find them.
BBS Preparation
Every bar, marked, measured and weighed.
Quantity Take-Off
Measured once, traceable to the drawing.
BOQ Preparation
A bill every bidder prices the same way.
