Quantity Take-Off Services
Measured once, traceable to the drawing.
We measure quantities from your drawings or model and hand back a take-off you can audit: every line traceable to a drawing reference, every assumption written down rather than buried inside a formula.
Why this goes wrong.
Take-offs get rushed at tender and then live for the whole job. An unrecorded assumption in week one becomes an argument in month nine, and by then nobody can reconstruct how the number was arrived at.
Deliverables.
Issued in your format — Excel, PDF, DWG or your own template.
- Trade-wise measured quantities with drawing references
- Concrete, formwork and reinforcement quantities
- Blockwork, plaster, finishes, waterproofing and MEP first-fix
- Earthwork — excavation, backfill and disposal volumes
- Assumption and exclusion register
- Comparison against a previous or client take-off, with variances explained
- BIM-based extraction where a model is available
Outcomes.
Auditability
Every quantity references the drawing and revision it came from.
Tender speed
Take-offs returned inside your bid window, not after it.
Variance control
Differences against the client measure identified and explained, not absorbed.
Standards
We detail to the code your project is contracted to, not to a house default.
- IS 1200
- RICS NRM2
- POMI
- CESMM4
- SMM7
Software
Native files on request, so your team can pick the work up directly.

Common questions.
Which measurement standard do you work to?
IS 1200 for Indian projects, RICS NRM2 for UK-standard work, and POMI or CESMM4 where the contract calls for it. If you measure to an in-house standard, we follow yours.
Can you take off from a BIM model instead of drawings?
Yes, and we will tell you honestly where the model can be trusted and where it cannot. Model-based extraction is fast and consistent for repeating elements, but junctions, voids and deductions still need checking by measure. We report which quantities came from the model and which were measured manually.
What if the drawings are incomplete?
We measure what is drawn, list what is missing, and state the assumption used for anything we have had to allow for. You get a clean quantity set plus an explicit gap list, rather than a number with hidden guesses inside it.
BBS Preparation
Every bar, marked, measured and weighed.
Shop Drawings
Drawings the site can build from without a phone call.
BOQ Preparation
A bill every bidder prices the same way.
Need quantity take-off on a live job?
Send the drawings. You get scope, price and a delivery date back — not a brochure.
