Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Apex PreciCost Consultant collects through apexprecicost.com, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data fiduciary (under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act) and data controller (under the UK and EU GDPR) for that data.

What we collect

Only what you send us. There is no account system, no advertising network and no cross-site tracking on this website.

• Enquiry form. Your name, company, email, phone number and the project details you choose to enter, plus your consent record.
• Email and phone. Whatever you include when you contact us directly.
• WhatsApp. If you use a WhatsApp link, the conversation happens on WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms, not ours.

Our free calculator runs entirely in your browser. Schedule data you type into it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and the “share” link encodes your rows into the URL itself rather than storing them on a server.

Who processes it

We use the following third parties. They are listed with their jurisdiction because where your data physically goes matters:

Form submissions are processed in the United States. If you are in the EU or UK and this is a problem for your organisation, email us at apexprecicost@gmail.com instead of using the form and your data will not leave our own systems.

Why we are allowed to

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the enquiry form. That box is never pre-ticked and is not bundled with anything else, as required by the DPDP Rules 2025. Under the GDPR our lawful bases are consent and legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.

We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: 24 months, then deleted.
• Enquiries that become projects: for the life of the engagement plus the statutory retention period for business records.
• Web3Forms holds a copy in its own dashboard for 30 days.

Your project data

Drawings, specifications and commercial information you send us in the course of an engagement are confidential. They are not shared, resold or used as portfolio samples without your written permission, and we will sign your NDA or provide ours.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: email apexprecicost@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your national supervisory authority if you are in the UK or EU.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no cross-site tracking, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner. If that changes, this page and the banner will change with it.
